The "Flashback Episode".
« on: April 30, 2007, 09:03:41 PM »
I've always been envious of American sitcom writers who get to produce the "Flashback Episode". This is the one where the main characters talk about things that have happened in the past and, basically, consists of clips cobbled together from previous episodes. It's a bit of a cheat.
I'm proud to announce that I've managed to do this with Beau Peep. I decided to do a week's series about The Nomad looking back over the various books (all rejected by publishers) that he's written over the years. It gave me the chance to recycle the titles of some of his greatest works, like his classic tale of sex and golf----Lady Chatterley's Putter.
I have no idea why this didn't sell.

Thunderbirds did it. Star Trek the Next Generation did it. No reason why you can't stoop to that level.

You should have done Beau Peep looking back on his times with Mad Pierre.

Make Mince's 'should' a 'could' and add, "had you chosen to".

Oh, and I think the Lady Chatterley's Putter's hilarious, by the way.
Can you shank with a putter?

I apologise, in advance.

The Simpsons do it all the time.
Doesn't get a laugh the second time round.
