Happy Halloween!
« on: October 31, 2010, 02:08:37 PM »
So what are you doing for Halloween this year?

I dressed up earlier in the week for Toastmasters:

We have those little candy bars to hand out but nobody comes here. I will go to town and pick up my daughter (who is at a sleepover party) and we will all go around Trick or Treating for an hour or so until we get cold.

Happy Halloween everyone!

You look splendid, Diane!
As usual, I will be sitting in the dark, hoping none of the little blighters knock on my door.

Well done you!  That's given me an idea for my outfit for Christmas lunch at Roger's...

My husband wants me to wear it again but I am a bit suspicious as hunting season opens up here.

Happy Halloween!
I was out celebrating last night with a collection of witches, cats, werewolves, vampires, zombies and Marie Antoinette. I'm pretending to be out tonight.

You look very festive, Diane. What did you wear when you went out? Know you didn't wear the reindeer costume. We had a big storm just at the right time to discourage little trick or treaters.  Shame, really, we have all this chocolate now ...

Not happy because my son knocked over one of a matching pair of vases in the front hall - said he just brushed against it, but it was in an alcove, for goodness sake.  I know he was horsing around with his girlfriend!  He didn't used to have as much impact when he was 6 and horsing around.  Bit different now he's 24 and 6ft 2.  :'(

I was a groovey person from the 70s with an affro; blue glasses and an kaftan top with a peace sign.

Joan now that you have one vase left - just think of how much more unique and valuable it will be!

...and a cross between Pollyanna and Anne of Green Gables.

See?
I apologise, in advance.
