I see in the papers that a bloodstained flag found under a trooper at the last stand comes up for sale next week.

Are you hjaving a bid Roger? Only $5million they reckon, a real snip.

That could be a real buy - with the advances in modern science some DNA could be extracted and a whole army of solidiers could be reproduced. Of course they would be crap fighters but they would be stylish and mannerly.

I have a slightly bloodied hanky (7%, plus 23% unidentified and assorted stains) from the time I sorted out Craig Robertson for hiding my schoolbag, in the playground of St Ninian's Episcopal Primary School in Perth, Scotland, circa 1968.

What am I bid?
I apologise, in advance.

I go off to bed, satisfied with my post to Health and Safety, safe in the knowledge that there is at least one other who won't become another statistic.  - or something to that effect.  Ta, Lil.
