Tasty, were they?
People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

It was a simple typo.

When is a topy not a typo?

I like Skate as well.

I never ceases to amaze me how BP Forum threads manage to change the subject all the time.

It also helps to check if there is a next page before posting.

What about mince? Like, or dislike?
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

I don't like trick questions.

Define 'mince'.

I always thought it meant 'to walk a bit funny'.....

I always thought the same but as I don't want to upset Mince and have my settings messed up I will refrain from commenting! (as a 'new guy' is that a suitably diplomatic reply???)

PS how the heck do you properly copy previous posts into your reply (ie with the natty blue background etc). Also I have managed to copy a picture of 'The Nomad' to my PC but how do I get it as my Avater. Answers to a Numpty please...

As for the quotes, find the post you want to quote and click... erm... 'quote' button. Then you edit it down and mess about with the codes an' stuff. Simples!
I apologise, in advance.

I wasn't trying to trick you Jerry, or to leave you exposed to being brutally punished by the regime. I put "mince" with a small "m" deliberately, so you would know I was referring to ground beef (as the Yanks would call it), and not the tw*t who helps me run this site.

Jerry, Don't fall for that one.  There is NO right way to answer any of the quetsions here.  Just remember that the Peepmaster is constantly getting at Mince (and vice-versa).  Stand well clear, unless you can get in a good shot - but be prepared for the shockwave.

p.s.  My quote ended at "Define 'mince'"  Vulture stated "I always ....."

Personally I love mince (minced beef, that is), especially in a chilli, or even well seasoned with potatoes, veg and GRAVY!

Thanks Bilthehut - I'll use the 'Tin Helmet Firmly On' routine (as one of my ex-work collegues would put it when he was going to do/say something that would more than likely upset his other half).

However, I'm a mince (with a small 'm') fan myself - nothing better on a cold night with a field's worth of mashed potato, carrots, peas and a whisky gravy.

PS Maybe to keep in a certain person's goodbooks I should grovel and also say that I am a 'Mince' fan as well???

No, don't, Jer. Mince'll have no respect for you!
