Dilmah Ceylon tea in the afternoon and evening, usually 1 or 2 mugs. Made with tea bag (on the look out for a nice tea pot - if I find one, will maybe use leaves) and milk.
Coffee the rest of the time, made in a plunger (cafetiere) and drunk out of a large (the plunger is designated 3 cups and the coffee fits in my cup with milk perfectly). Usually have one at breakfast, mid-morning and after lunch, but will have a cappuccino or a long black with cold milk when I'm out and after dinner out.
Need to whinge about the latest trend in Australia - "high tea", offered by hotels and restaurants, it's the latest "thing". The meal to which they are referring is "afternoon tea". As most of you would know, high tea is a meal served around 5pm which usually includes a main course of something like fish and chips, lamb chops, sausages or the like, along with bread and butter, scones, cakes, etc, and of course, tea. At least, that's what it used to be, they probably don't serve it any more, but it really gets on my goollies (if I had some) when they call afternoon tea "high tea" here. Just one of my little foibles.
This is my coffee cup (one of them). Just playing with the webcam on my new laptop!
Big, init? Oh, dear, I'm getting sad, in the sense of pathetic!
