I thought this would make a good opening to my novel. What does everyone else think?

I think about rainbow ponies.
People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

I think I'm going to manage to finish this novel without needing any rainbow ponies at all. Sorry.

You could have them as a nasty evil herd of Rainbow Ponies, hell bent on dominating the world by infecting innocent young minds.  That makes you and I safe from their evil charms.

Regarding the subject "The":

I thought this would make a good opening to my novel. What does everyone else think?

My first thought was: "Is End the next word?"

My novel started with the following "Learn how you can reverse the years and"

Peeps, technically that's not reversing "the years and", it's just typing the letters in reverse order.

If you reversed it properly, the tail of the "y" would point to the right, and the "t" downstroke  would curl left. Things are pretty quiet for me at the moment.

You lot lead such busy lives - I'm envious - NOT!
