A Colonel is Needed
« on: September 09, 2015, 03:33:01 PM »
Tarquin Thunderthighs III and Sandy Buttcheeks are Sergeants, and now I need someone who can be Colonel. I will put up the full job description soon, but it cannot be Roger. Tarquin and Sandy are free to apply, as is anyone else.

It's probable that I'm not really officer material. I would be more likely to shout "Put your pointy thingies on" than "Fix bayonets".

Your avatar would suggest otherwise. I've been itching to give that avatar a pipe or something.

Wow!   I'm a severe form of pneumonia usually caused by inhaling the bacteria legionella, in this case caused by Mince, I'd give a cheer but it brings on me cough...

Ages ago, when the hard drive on my friend's computer started to pack up, he received an error message "GENERAL FAILURE READING YOUR HARD DRIVE", and he asked me who General Failure was and why he was reading his hard drive.

I think he was he same person who told me to list the captains in Star Trek, and then told me that I had missed one, namely Captain Slog, who apparently was in every episode but never on screen - you only heard his voice: Captain Slog, Star Date 3967.897.

So, this full job description...do we have to guess it?
I apologise, in advance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Come up with your own job description.

2. Give orders.

I vote Mince, unless this is not a democracy, in which case I demand Mince, unless this is not a revolutionary state, in which case I politely suggest Mince, in a last, desperate and futile grasp at inheriting the earth...

I might be busy with other things, such as following the orders of the colonel.

I vote Tarks.

He has the most militaristic (is that a word?) name.

All salute Colonel Tarquin Thunderthighs III...known on the battlefield as Thunder the Chunder.
