Here you go: conclusive proof that they have actually started filming for the spin-off Beau and Arrow.

Roger's unusual refusal to reply merely adds to the proof.

I apologise. For some reason, I've missed the recent posts on here.
Over the years, there have been two attempts to make an animated Beau Peep series for television. The first collapsed almost immediately but, at least, I became friends with the bass guitarist from the Manchester band, Jilted John. He was a big fan of the strip and wrote a theme tune for the potential series without asking for payment. When the project was abandoned, he was really upset as he felt it could have been successful. We kept in touch for several years after that.
The second attempt got a bit further. As I've mentioned many times before, The Peepmaster and I went to a studio in London to oversee the recording of a script I'd written. The actors involved were my close friend, the late Colin Tarrant (Inspector Monroe in "The Bill") and Graham Turner (of many TV productions, theatre plays and films like "Little Voice"). The day was a hoot and we all left the studio feeling hugely optimistic about the possibilities. Sadly, as you all know, nothing came to pass and it ain't going to happen now.
However, I do feel there's a future for my "Gone With The Mince" idea.......

Well, that's a shame on both counts, but perhaps it's for the best, given that their eventual failure would have stalled forever the inevitable success of "Gone with the Mince".
