Natural Order of Things
« on: February 09, 2009, 06:30:32 PM »
I was thinking about how very often members of a group form a natural order. I know wolves do it, and I'm sure other creatures do too. Perhaps we could formulate a list for this forum?

I suppose you'd have to start at the top with Roger, and work down. (Probably having me as second).

Or you could start at the bottom, with Mince, and work up. Is there some kind of order of importance already psychologically established, I wonder?

I'm the one who put the lower into hierarchy.

To be honest, Peeps, I think you have to go top. It's a bit silly if The PeepMASTER is anywhere else. I'll be the eye candy in second place. Mince can be the bedraggled, but feisty, outsider who battles admirably for alpha-male status. There is an increasingly large female population here and it's obviously your job to keep them all happy. I would help but I've got a headache.

What got you thinking along these lines Peeps - got fleas?
People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

It had just occurred to me how important I am in the Beau Peep organisation, then I remembered that there wouldn't even be a Beau Peep organisation if it wasn't for Roger. I remembered also the stalwart contributions of Tarquin, and your good self, Diane. Damn good foot-soldiers without whom the forum would struggle. Then I thought about all those right the way down the chain - each of whom play their own part in making this such a happy family of funsters.

Then I remembered Mince. ..0

Yes - I've got fleas on the list now, Diane.

They're just above the one at the bottom. ( ..0 )

Fleas near your bottom? Nasty!

Our cat suffered for a while. We renamed him The Valve at the time.
I apologise, in advance.
