The Karate Kid

I don't think we ever talked about the Karate Kid before.

Did you know that along with Karate Kid and Karate Kid 2 and Karate Kid 3 there was also a Karate Kid 4? Hillary Swank was in that one.

I liked Karate Kid 2, even though it made no sense whatsoever.

Before the Karate Kid movies, Karate Kid was a comic book character. Apart from being teen-age, there was no resemblance between the two.

Only ever saw the original. Thought it was magic.

Apparently there's gonna be a remake with Jackie Chan in the Mr Miyagi role...

I bought my son the boxed set of four the Christmas before last but only have been watching him with him this week - we watched one each evening.

I remember thinking how cool the crane move was when I saw the movie years ago and was more focused on the Daniel character - this time I was laughing at all the Mr Miyagi jokes.

Jackie Chan would be good in the role.
