The Sadness of March.

Just a wee note to remember our dear friend, Seattle Kate, who passed away three years ago this month---a lovely, crazy American lady who brightened the lives of all of us on this site. I still miss her.

Roger, Diane and I talked about this on the anniversary.
We agreed we would not dwell on her death but instead celebrate her life on Kate's birthday, April 10th.
I much prefer to think of my lady from Skedaddle (her name for Seattle) this way.

Kate would have been 51 this year, or in her words, 46.

Even though I was not around when everyone was getting to know her, it seems like I know her, and it's good to remember her like this. That must sound odd, I guess.

You have always done "odd" very well, Mince. And on this occasion, I share your oddity.
I apologise, in advance.

I'll certainly raise a glass to this lovely lady on the 10th Max. She played a huge part in steering this Beau Peep website onto a course of insanity. A founder member, never to be forgotten, bless her.
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

Didn't someone post a photo of Kate last year? Is there another someone could post?

I did not know Kate, but I've read some things about her on this board.  So, here's to a fellow American  - one who clearly represented our country well on Beau Peep and made a lasting positive impression on everyone she met.
