Crossword clue-writng contest in the S.T.

Nige, I presume you've seen that today's word is "impolite". I came up with "Rude? Not me!" Is this too obvious?

I just saw what won that clue-writing competition, Roger.

The winning clue was " I'm civil, given space. Rude if not."

Quite clever.

The word was "impolite", for those who don't remember.
