I think it was the back end of the '70s when it came out. I loved it on first hearing, and it just gets better every time I hear it. To me, it's outstanding on many different levels.
The introduction, the lyrics themselves, the backing vocals and harmonies (which all sound as though they're created by Stevie W himself), and the uplifting chorus, which has a gospel feel about it. "Feel It!"
It has me dancing round the house when I'm vacuumin doing various manly tasks.
