apple seeds

It has been years since I saw sprouting apple seeds when cutting open an apple - my daughter planted them.

Like Tom, I've never seen a sprouting apple seed.  Were they actually in the apple sprouting, Diane?

I'm in the group that hasn't seen sprouting apple seeds...how many apples did that little lot come from?

What was cool was how the shoots bent around to fit within the cavety. There were about a dozen - I made two apple pies yesterday to go with the the chili - it was a wet then cold and windy day so I thought they would be nice for the guys to come home to.



This was the one that survived the night.
