OMG Beau Peep

I mentioned I'd found a Beau Peep facebook page a while ago.

Now I see it is linked to a Fan Site where they've scanned all the pages of Beau Peep books!

He's even got Tintin books on there, some of our graphics, and verbatim  descriptions of the characters that Roger wrote for our website.

I wonder what the publishers etc., think of that!

This is old news.  We had already discussed the existence of another website with scanned books.  I even complained and pointed out to the webmaster there that our forum and website are the original (and real) deal.  We must be.  Roger is here!  They now acknowledge us on both the website and Facebook.

Actually, the Peepmaster raises a good point about the publishers. When Diane asked about posting Book 1 on here, I couldn't see any problem as the publishers (Express Books) were long defunct. The publishers of the later books are, as far as I know, still around. Having said that, I doubt very much if they have plans to reprint any of them so I'd guess the guys at OMGBeauPeep are pretty safe.

In the Peepmeister's defence (if that is possible), I just noticed that he had not participated in the original thread about this new BP site.  Which begs the question, "Does he read this stuff at all?"
