I noticed that, Rob, and suffered a wee twinge of nostalgia. I understand that the artist, Roger Mahoney, has been ill recently (thankfully, he has recovered) and needed some time off. Hence the reprinting of old material.
I still miss my involvement with Andy Capp---I'm really proud to have written it for over ten years---but the workload was driving me bonkers.
And I know the way to bonkers without being driven.

The ones this week have not been credited at all, and I don't remember them as reprints.  Are they new writers, do you think?

Rob, another artist was filling in for Roger Mahoney last week while he recovered from his illness. Things should be back to normal by tomorrow.
Yes, the Cornishman does sound a bit odd. Who would invite two Scots for a cup of tea?
