I think you should start introducing them to appeal to a wider audience.

BEAU PEEP: Why? Has your head been burglarised of stupidity?

DENNIS: Hey! I'm intelligent 24/7. Alphabetize it and do the math!

An anagram using "smart" and "arse" is "Rarest Sam". Perhaps we could call the Barber in our strip "Rarest Sam".
