Thank you so much all of you!

I was off in the land of Scarborough for a few days, it's like Blackpool with a strange accent.
Strange place also, absolutely no parking spaces, no level walking surfaces (it's built on a mountainside I think).
So it was a great place to pop a knee muscle/ligament type thingy and learn to walk with a stick.

This sort of thing never happens in Rothesay too often.

Diane, funnily enough I DID!

I got parsley, sage, rosemary and Ibuprofen.
Tomorrow when I meet my doctor I hope he prescribes something even stronger.

Well it wouldn't be much of a birthday without the need for some kind of pain killer after the fun.

We do have an elevated part of the island overlooking Rothesay Bay. Strangely enough, it's called Canada Hill.
