Thank you so much all of you!

I was off in the land of Scarborough for a few days, it's like Blackpool with a strange accent.
Strange place also, absolutely no parking spaces, no level walking surfaces (it's built on a mountainside I think).
So it was a great place to pop a knee muscle/ligament type thingy and learn to walk with a stick.

This sort of thing never happens in Rothesay too often.  :D

Did you buy herbs at Scarborough Fair?  ;D

People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

Diane, funnily enough I DID!

I got parsley, sage, rosemary and Ibuprofen.
Tomorrow when I meet my doctor I hope he prescribes something even stronger.  ;D

Well it wouldn't be much of a birthday without the need for some kind of pain killer after the fun.  :-*

We do have an elevated part of the island overlooking Rothesay Bay. Strangely enough, it's called Canada Hill.
