You'll probably hear that I let myself down when the beautifully made cakes came out. We were trying to decipher what they said, and my guess of "TWATS", was clearly wrong as there were only three "letters". I must have looked stupid.

That was great, I especially liked the fact the pretty young women made a big fuss of your brother. Was that a sore point?

They were all birds he worked with at News International. I had Lucy there, anyway, so they were reticent when it came to smothering me with affection, naturally.
