Not late at all, Tom - still a few hours left. Thank you! And you too, Roger - I shall take your advice and may well sip sherry beyond eleven o'clock this evening.

What would I do without you all? Now that IS a rhetorical question.
I apologise, in advance.

Sorry to be even later with best wishes....may this be a memorable evening..or have you reached the stage/age where you're grateful to be able to remember anything?

We're still talking about your Birthday, Tarquin.

Happy b'day, Tarq's, darling!

One for Mince.................

An English professor wrote the words: "WOMAN WITHOUT HER MAN IS NOTHING" on the blackboard, and directed the students to punctuate
it correctly

The men wrote: "Woman, WITHOUT HER MAN, is nothing."

The women wrote: "WOMAN!! WITHOUT HER, man is nothing!"

Thanks for that.

Thanks, Lil - if your subtly asking my vintage, I'm now in my forty-tenth year, building up to another big one. Catching up with you fast, Malky!
I apologise, in advance.
