I shall ask all the bars if they have been frequented by someone famous. Then I can tell Roger whether any famous people went to the same bar that he did.

I wasn't trying to say that this bar is some kind of wondrous experience. It was simply part of my suggestion that, instead of reading about how a mouthful of grilled fish will take 14 years off your life, you should relax and enjoy your holiday. I have no idea what the bar is called but, as I said, it's probably about 70-100 yards to the left and up the hill from the Aquario restaurant. The actual interior is tiny but there are three or four tables outside with comfortable seating. I tend to fall asleep midway through my second beer.

I found one bar that remembers a guy apparently called Boaty Pete who played for Dundee United, who kept dancing on the tables after the first pint and asking if he could paint himself tangerine. Sound familiar?
