Down to the last three chapters, then its on to the next book. I have the first 5 books on my Kindle (and ipad, iphone, pc apps) so I can read them anywhere. I have not bought the 6th one as it is too expensive at the moment.
Have just watched the HBO series of the first book. It is very close to the book, even down to some of the spoken parts. The books are written from the viewpoints of various characters, one viewpoint per chapter. This is quite readable and, once you understand the environment (completely unrelated to our history) and characters, Houses, etc, it all makes sense. Wiki the books and read a synopsis of the storyline. It's worth it.
