The term, "Equation".
« on: November 06, 2008, 08:42:52 PM »
Many authors reserve the term equation for an equality which is not an identity. Can this be right?

I'd like to know whether Tarquin and Roger actually understand the question.

Well, Tarquin really.

Indeed. It's translation in this instance would be "Is this board populated by thickos?".
I apologise, in advance.

I know the answer to this!

Yes!

I don't understand the question but one dosn't need to "many reserve" can be the case wether one should or should not reserve is another question - a question one would need to understand before answering - but luckily in this case we don't need to know.

I was simply seeking to introduce a question that might arouse the interest of Mince. As it happens, I have absolutely no idea what it means either, but I thought it could appeal to eggheads.

If that's all you're after, why don't you try "Can Peepmaster's miniscule brain cope with Janet and John stories?"?

See spot run. Run, spot, run!

That spot looks suspicious. And it's running. Could be an STD.
