Lurgy.
« on: February 26, 2007, 08:37:18 PM »
Apologies for my silence over the last few days but I've been hit with the dreaded lurgy/man flu. Aching limbs, complete exhaustion and generally feeling like crap have been the more enjoyable symptoms. An added bonus has been an outbreak of eczema on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet. You probably realised something was up when I didn't comment on my sister's new Neil Diamond avatar.
Anyway, this evening, I feel awful which is a vast improvement and I'm obviously on the mend.

Couldn't you have stayed away until it had completely gone? We've probably all got it now. Haven't you ever heard of computer viruses, for $%^&'s sake?

We missed you.
I apologise, in advance.

I just assumed you'd accidentally switched it off again, Roger.

Hope you're feeling better again soon.

I thought he'd jammed the laptop lid shut.

Are you saying Lil Diamond is your sister? Why doesn't anyone tell me these things? I'll ask her about embarrassing moments from your childhood, Roger.

She is, indeed, my sister, and far too gracious to spill the family beans. Also, it's her birthday next week so she'd better watch what she says.

Hope you are feeling a bit better again today Roger.

People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

Me too. I'd design you a get-well card but it wouldn't seem, you know, manly.

I'm assuming that's a typo and you meant "get unstuffed".
