Time Machine
« on: May 07, 2009, 12:51:19 PM »
I was copying files to a USB. It said 15 minutes remaining and seconds later said 2 minutes remaining.

Do you think we could use this new property of Vista to create a time machine?

Or a numerical idiot?
I apologise, in advance.

We could, if we managed to collate all the disparate strands of time, space and gravity into one force, which would allow us to bend the whole universe to our will. But then again, the parts would be mega expensive.

I thought about building a time machine - but decided it would be cheaper just to get up five minutes early.

Okay---the old question. If you had a time machine, which moment in history would you travel to? Needless to say, I would like to know what happened at the Little Bighorn but, assuming you're only allowed one trip, I guess I'd head for The Holy Land around 30 A.D. and see what all the fuss was about.

I'd go back to last Friday evening because I was singing and it was a really good night, although I don't remember much about it as I was bladdered. If I was allowed just one more go on the aforementioned time-machine, I'd then fast-forward back to today to avoid a re-run of the hangover I had on Saturday morning.

Are you allowed to go back and undo a stupid things that you did when you were too young to know better?

It would be 1066 and tell Harold to keep his head down.
or go to the battle of Bosworth and tell Richard to watch out that Richmond would be a turncoat.

Or lock the bedroom door the night Pilch was conceived.
