I think you've got this all wrong. It's the turtles themselves who are engaged in retrofitting. The name of their company is Retrofitting Turtles. Like Ninja Turtles.

RT stocked up on hessian wallpaper in the seventies and for a modest fee they'll come and cover one wall in your living room with it.
