AMEN CORNER - IF PARADISE IS HALF AS NICE
This is a real teenage memory for me. An evocative voice and, years later, when I first heard Police and Sting, I genuinely thought that it was Andy Fairweather-Low singing.

This is one of those incredible synchronicity moments. I was surfing You Tube only last night and decided, without any particular reason, to type in Andy Fairweather Low.
These days he's bald and wearing huge glasses, like some latter day Lenin, but still touring!
As he seems to have been working as a support act for other big names instead of pursuing his own career, I see him as a British Nils Lofgren.

I actually sang "Bend Me, Shape Me" last night in Karaoke.  What a coincidence. Very painful for the neck muscles as he had quite a high voice!
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟
