Who is this?

Why don't these other people on the Facebook site join this forum.

I don't think I can spend time on both these sites and much prefer this specific forum anyway.

Beau Peep has always been very popular in other parts of the world.

I can't knock Facebook, although I avoided it for ages.

http://www.facebook.com/nigel.sutherland

I have various "business" pages on there, and join in with a variety of local community pages etc. Then I get to keep in touch with millions of chums and family. Clients from our websites join our facebook pages too, so they get to stay in touch. I also get enquiries. Late last night a box popped up from a woman in Glasgow looking for a holiday to the Caribbean, which we'll be working on today.

Here are the pages I have associated with my FB account. All posts are set to go out as tweets automatically, via Twitter, so that gets attentions too. My main websites get loads of extra hits after tweets go out. Some of these pages are fairly new, so fan numbers aren't mega high, but the increase is steady. Feel free to "like".

Isn't Facebook a thing of the past now? Not that I have a clue about it, of course, but I thought it had been more or less replaced by some other new-fangled thingummybob.

Ah. I've just read your post, Nige---it's all connected to Twitter now. Maybe that's what I was thinking about.

Actually, I think everything's going towards Facebook now. It's so inclusive, and a doddle for people to set up. Like I said earlier, I had a natural aversion to it, but it certainly is incredibly powerful.

It's a pile of shite for morons who like to be commodities and always will be.

I admit you probably do have to have friends and associates for it to work. Anyway, this "pile of shite" gets me some decent contacts and enquiries, including a £3000 bespoke holiday request only last night.

And it costs me nothing, other than a little time.

I also have made fabulous contacts around the world in my industry using Linkedin.

Still, what do I know?

I read "commodities" as "commodites" and had an unfortunate image of Facebookers and toilets. I think it was the word "shite" that set that up.

I think Peepmaster is tapping into the Facebook commodities, so I can't fault him with his use of Facebook, other than the fact that he wears a skirt.

I think there are a few Beau Peep aficionados on Facebook.

Those that are, confess here...

I confess that I think Peeps wears a skirt, too!

I'm on Facebook.

I have a Facebook account but rarely visit it.  It was created so I could access a VSI soldier as I was the CVO.

I am on FB and friends with Peeps, Lucy, Joan, Malc and now Elizabeth. Vultch was my friend briefly as was Bill.

I like going on FB  ;D

Oh dear.

I have Facebook. Although I enjoy looking at people's photographs of vacations and seeing how people I knew years ago have changed, it's not really my thing. Too much information is an issue for me.  I've seen and learned things about co-workers I'd really rather not.  Something about seeing photos of one of your co-workers licking vodka off another person is just a little TMI.  The latest entry from another co-worker was "Dog peepee on my duvet." Isn't that interesting?  ..0  And she posts photos of her near-naked 20-something year old boyfriend. He does look like a model, but again TMI.
