Moral dilemma: is it ethical to feed past-dated Sake n’ Bake to living chickens?

Sake to living chickens?
1. how do you feed it to non-living chickens?
2. does it make them happy or leave them with a hang-over?

Yes.
It's not ethical to feed them golf balls.

I'm guessing that's Shake'n' Bake (I still haven't seen it over here).  I think it sounds good because the chicken is then ready coated before it goes in the oven, thus saving you valuable time.  You may have stumbled on something new here....

Yes it should have been Shake, not sake.

It was a simple typo.

I declare that the whole month of APRIL to be a non-picking apart posts with typos month. Who is with me?

Me ;D

...but I don't think you should feel badly about this because you've come up with a new way of serving coated chicken plus a way of using up any sake which happens to be in your cupboard.
I think you've become the Delia of this forum.

;D  I'm officially starting to get worried about myself - I was looking for the "like" button on Lil's post. Oh dear ...

I thought it was an actual product called Sake n' Bake, made of Japanese rice wine, honest.
I thought it was Shake n' Bake's little play on their famous name as they targeted the Teppanyaki restaurant market.

I didn't get Roger's golf ball gag at all.

Well the golf balls would pass - it would be unethical to sell them as eggs.

And it is funny because I had Shake n' Bake to get rid of and Joan has thousands of golf balls.

And just because Roger said it means it's funny you heathen.

Joan - I just had a fun idea for your golf balls.

You could spray paint them and then glue them onto xmas wreaths and give "golf ball wreaths"  to everyone on your street for a laugh this next xmas.

I remember I used to really fancy the Shake N' Vac actress in the old ads. Apparently her name is Jenny Logan

In those days she counted as an older woman.

I've felt differently about Skate, ever since visiting an aquarium in North Shields a couple of years ago, when several swam across and actually lifted their heads out of the water to look at us, like friendly dogs. Almost like a different breed of fish with the intelligence you'd associate with dolphins.
