talking about yourself again TT? Thank you everyone! I did receive a bottle of Dalwhinnie, but am reserving it for ron as have had one or two glasses of French champagne and try not to mix the grape and the grain, especially at my age!
This is the lovely photo that was missing from Diane's post. We have to be very quiet about it, as it had "all rights reserved" attached to it on Flickr, which was why it wasn't showing. Roger told me how to secrete it onto my laptop and upload it here.
I have had a very lovely day, with lots of lovely greetings from people around the world. Decided I needed an outing after having been cooped up for the last few days with a nasty cold and drove Trevor to the doctor. Dropped him off and went down to the nearest shopping centre where I had a quick browse around the shoes, grabbed a cup of coffee and left to pick him up. Just as I was leaving the car park, got a message saying, as is the way of specialists, especially late in the afternoon, he hadn't been taken yet so don't rush. Luckily, I found a space where I could keep one eye out for parking police and made use of my new smart phone by checking up on Facebook and Twitter. Oh, horror, Mincey!
A couple of hours later and we were home and I was pampered with a lovely dinner of oysters kilpatrick, prawns and a strawberry tart, along with a couple (or so) glasses of Veuve. Haven't had so much to eat in a long time! All very lovely though. I then hooked up with my sister on Skype, watched a bit of Bones and logged on here to catch up with you.
Hope I haven't bored you too much ... when one gets to 70, one tends to ramble a bit.
Thanks again. Think I may have a cup of tea now. xo
