She beats up one 12 year-old girl and she's already a hired assassin!
DI HARD!

I like that nickname! I may get it embroidered on my fancy karate jammies.

Don't. Some wag will only add a "ck" to Di with jumbo marker.

I suspect that's not the first time that warning has been issued in his lifetime.
I apologise, in advance.

Gedan berai girl.

That's knowledge above my current belt level.  :)

BTW- I am without internet at home for the next 3-10 days. The company I signed up with last Monday has dropped me from their service as I am too much trouble, as in when I am online everyone getting signals from the north tower suffers. Oh well, found another company to try but they are backed up with demand for installs (which sounds good).

The more professional internet company came out today  (you could tell they were more professional because there were two of them, their truck had its own lifty bucket thing and they didn’t need their mother-in-law to drive them out and borrow our ladder) well they said it ain’t happening with the quality of the signals. So I am back to dial up.  <-

There is a different system being offered early next year so we may get that from the better company but in the meantime I am back to reading books whilst waiting for pages to load. But when you think that I live in a field almost five hours from a major city I guess I am lucky to get a glimpse of the www at all.

And back to karate – third lesson – I have not been able to move much and stairs are hard – who knew a person had so many muscles and they could all seize up at one time?

UPDATE: I am officially quitting karate (too hard for me) and instead am applying to be a volunteer reader/baby cuddler at the hospital on Monday nights whilst waiting around town for my daughter in her back-to-back dance classes.

I saw that on your Facebook post, Diane, and was quite saddened. You don't normally throw in the towel when you take up a new hobby. Maybe cuddling babies is easier than karate - I don't know. I hope you manage to stick at the knitting malarkey.

Nige, the Karate is split into three sessions over the two hours and I only like the middle section which is where we stand in formation and do drills - much like thi chi. The warms ups was why I quit - he had us jumping up in the air then dropping to the ground to do a push up (think army) - then we would have to do these insane stretches...just not fit enough. :(
