Thanks, Joan.  Not had a chance to miss work yet what with unpacking and Christmas around the corner but I look forward to adapting to it!
It must be handy having Christmas just around the corner.

Even handier as it's next door to B&Q.... although I've still to register for the "10% off for pensioners on Wednesdays."

This one got more than £2000 for hers, so that's still not a bad deal actually, even without the discount.

edit: Actually, she wasn't quite a pensioner yet, so never mind. Clearly the value goes down very very quickly over a short space of time.

Back to the storms, I'm coping quite well, the sun was splitting the trees up here in Queensland until two days ago then the heavens opened and it rained for a whole hour, maybe even an hour and a half. My washing is out on the line, soaked.
