Goodbye cruel world

The world ends on Friday, and it's official. I read it in the chip-shop paper. It's been great to get to know you all, just wish I had discovered this site years ago. It's fine though, I've read enough quality humour now to last me a lifetime.    :'(

Oh bugger! You could have mentioned this sooner - I've just bought green bananas.
People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

No apocalyptic explosions...no plagues of zombie hamsters...not even a worm with flatulence. Suspect this end of the world thingy may not be all it was cracked up to be.

Roger, you may want to look for a real good excuse for the last posting.

not even a worm with flatulence

Don't be too sure. I heard something distinctly windy in the back garden this morning, preceded by quite a bit of straining.

You heard a worm straining? Now that is something even David "Bloody" Attenborough hasn't managed to experience. Please describe.
