if you read up on the rules, you will find if you don't start a sentence with a capital letter, then it is perfectly acceptable in an arty way to also leave off the full stop

You obviously did not get new reading glasses for Christmas, Butty-cheeks.  Diane said she would be doing it weekly.  I'm trying to set up as a professional photpgrapher, and my promise to myself is to use and experiment with my camera gear daily.   :P

At my age, I HOPE to do something each day, rather than promise. Like "wake up".
I'm not sure that New Year resolutions are a good idea as they tend to end in disappointment. Some time ago, I resolved to keep a diary. It was to be a detailed account of a year in my life which I could look back on with fondness. It had only one entry which read "January 1st. This is a stupid idea".

In my 52nd year, I feel 2013 could be the year I finally give up on BBC Radio 1! :o

I've been really impressed with 6 Music on DAB.  8)
