I was looking for a graphics badge and found this excellent site.

Those extended warranties are a scam. My female stopped working, and they said they could send a bloke round but I had to pay a callout fee just for him to have a look at her.

Don't pay guys. I had a mate that fell for it. Apparently his female was getting serviced regularly by a local, skilled tradesman, and not only did she still stop working, she stopped coming home.

Wait until they break down, and if they can't be fixed, get a new one. Cheaper in the long run, I'm betting.

Get a Japanese one, they're much more reliable and they go forever.

But only if you use the right batteries.

So does that mean they come with an on/off switch?  Superb.

I was under the impression that if you miss-use an appliance, it renders any warranty null and void.

That's why such appliances should be kept exclusively in the household...means you can always claim your house insurance.

And don't forget to turn them off at night. I find wearing nothing but black ankle socks does it.

It depends where you're wearing the socks - females like to go to sleep smiling!

Ah...I get it. You mean wear them on your hands to make sock puppets, don't you? That's why you would go to sleep smiling, everyone loves a puppet show.

Yes, it would have to be your hands - anything smaller and the socks would fall off.  ..0
