I thought I’d start to scan in a few readers letters and texts (some which seem to have been printed verbatim) which have been published in the Daily Star over the years.
There are lots of Peep fans out there, as these letters show -- some reasonably intelligent, some just plain bonkers.  A bit like the members of this Forum really....

There were some very flattering texts and letters printed in the Star too Sandy.  And as we all know how Roger loves praise, ought I to post a few of them as well?  ..0

Please do Rob, the opinions of others are always worthy of a post or two.    ;D

I actually did a double take on the Beau Peep knitwear clipping. When I saw the £2.25 price for the BP t-shirt, I thought it was a real old clipping. Then I realised it was simply a recent advert offering them for their true value. D'oh.   ;)

I am not saying anything because I can only see grey lines. My internet service is really awful - I will check it out now and again and see if anything shows up.

I can confirm this is true. It's a very rough joint indeed.
I apologise, in advance.

Egon wins the beauty contest, and not just because Boris also looks worryingly like Jimmy Saville!

I am just seeing these now. I would love to see Gordon Ramsey inspect Egon's kitchen. I imagine they would both be drunk under the table and there would be nothing for supper. :-)
