Camel dung

Is anyone else having problems logging on to the BP Forum?  I had to get here today via an old link on Google.   It appears that when I click on the pic (the one with Dennis looking at the noticeboard) it directs me to cameldung.com instead of .uk, and thus comes up with a 'not found' page.  It worked fine up until a few days ago....
I wonder if my computer is doing that, or is Mincey up to his old tricks  ;)
Roger, could you check the HTML coding please?

Rob, the same happened to me, and Roger sorted it for me with some expert technical advice (.co.uk instead of .com). I've no idea what's happened to the .com version, but I suspect the hyperlink you refer to needs a simple bit of editing, which I believe is Peepmaster's territory.

Peepsie?
I apologise, in advance.

Okay - I've done do a fixy-fing. Should work now. The index page image takes you directly to the forum too - no intermediary page required.

That's very hurtful. Apposite but hurtful.

Just out of interest, what's the opposite of apposite?

Why don't you use big words like that in your strips?

True story: I was chatting to a visitor in a hotel bar on the island a few days ago, and the barman mentiones cartoons. This chap started going on about "A Man Called Horace", how funny it was, and how he couldn't get enough of it. Eventually I had to tell him my connection.

He couldn't believe I both wrote it AND drew the pictures!  :D

On a similar theme, a friend of mine was talking to a guy of about 40 and the suject got round to cartoons. The guy said he had a treasured possession---a Beau Peep strip I'd signed for him when he was 10.
I feel very old.

Surely the chalk would have rubbed off the slate during such a lengthy time?

I checked the page in developer mode and checking through the source code found that the URL in the hyperlink was incorrect, although other tags in the script were formatted properly. Roger :o agreed with me 8) that I should amend the link structure and I'm pleased to say it resulted in the link operating properly so we no longer had the 404 status "not found" error message.
