It's only 10:30pm and I'm as tired as anything. Well, obviously not as tired as anything: that would be stupid. For example, I am not as tired as I will be in, say, ten minutes. Of course, you could argue that my use of the word "anything" should refer only to simultaneously existing things, and not compare my current tiredness with a hypothetically (though likely) greater tiredness that exists in some future state. But I think that such narrow temporal constraints were not explicit stated in the original proposition. Think laterally - that's what I say.
