I was talking to my wife, not an unpleasant experience, and at the end of the conversation I remembered I was going to look something up on the internet, but I couldn't remember what it was.   After some serious thought I realised my short term memory was borderline pathetic.   I tried to remember how long ago it was since I first realised the diminishing returns on said short term memory, but I couldn't remember, which, after some more serious thought, lead me to the conclusion my long term memory was actually more pathetic than my short term memory.

No problem [I thought], I'll just write down all I can remember now, that way it doesn't matter if I forget it later, I can refresh my memory anytime, and if I do that every day...it worked fine, but now I can't remember where I put the notebook...

Today I even forgot my name, I did remember that in my Navy days we used to sew name tags onto various parts of our uniforms, on the off chance I still did that I checked my underwear, apparently my name is "Victoria's Secret"

Allowing for the fact that Marks and Spencer's are affectionately known as Marks n' Sparks, I cant help but think they could have branded their underwear better than simple "St Michael".

I mean, who wouldn't buy a pair of Skid Marks n Sparks?

I was going to go for "Fruit of the Loom" but I [obviously] couldn't remember if they made clothing or fruit-juice...
