...I wish you all a Merry Christmas. I'm guessing that we've all reached the stage where the next week or so is going to be a bit hectic so this is probably the best time to pass on my festive greetings.
Many thanks to you all for continuing to visit this site and I hope you have a wonderful time.
As a teetotal vegetarian, I will be having a nut roast and orange squash for Christmas.
As a liar, I will be having neither.
May you have your best Christmas ever.

As usual, I shall be posting over the Christmas period, wishing you all Merry Christmas several times, in varying degrees of inebriation. I can't guarantee I'll make sense most of the time.

And a Merry Christmas to you too Roger and everyone else.  My boys are coming home from Uni today for the holidays so I will be chained to the stove and sink for at least a week when I am not stepping over them as they play video games. Of course I wouldn't have it any other way, no siree, even if someone asked me alone to go to a tropical island for the holidays*, I would have to say "no" to that idea - peeling potatoes by the 10lbs daily for my babies is much too precious to miss.

Post Merry Christmas to you all.

A great time was had by all yesterday with the inclusion this year of red and green sprouts (sourced by moi) followed by an entertaining game of brussels sprouts roulette.... turned out to be not entertaining at all (unfortunately sourced also by moi) as the white chocolate sprouts were sickly and artery-hardening and the roulette wheel wouldn't spin.  By that stage in the meal, however, nothing seems too bad.  ;)
