Fasting
« on: October 14, 2017, 03:47:14 PM »
I have just read about a guy who fasted for 382 days and felt  great the whole time. He consumed only water and a daily multivitamin.

What happened on day 383 - a bacon sandwich?

He lost almost 20 stone. And then he probably had something healthy, like a banana.

I fasted for three days once, for a routine age-related colonoscopy. When you don't eat, you like humanity even less, especially ones who sit next to you eating a big plate of chips.

Good luck! 20 stone isn't going to be easy.
I apologise, in advance.

You probably didn't get past the gluconeogenesis part of the fast. Another day and you would have been surfing the euphoria of ketosis.

The problem with fasting is that you're not even allowed to eat healthily. I could have a apple.

Hey, it's the best time to start. I always put on a stone on holiday otherwise.
