I hope you all have a wonderful time and that Santa brings you everything on your wish list. As I mentioned earlier, it will be a quiet affair for us this year with my sister still in hospital and my son looking after his 17 day-old daughter. When I say quiet, I mean as quiet as our other granddaughter (three and a half years of frightening energy) will allow. I suspect I'll be spending a lot of time on my knees, putting together various new toys.

Saw a moose in the distance outside the kitchen window this morning - hopefully it will be back to trim the branches on the willow in the next day or two and I can get a photo.

We have so much snow this year and its been cold so it makes it very Christmassy. We have two kids home this year and have been playing board games already and watching movies. We pretty much always have quiet Christmases.
