Well done, Roger! That's a great result. Rangers have started the season really well and are formidable apponents.
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

I am feeling rather shocked. Second in the league, three points behind Celtic. It's scary up here!

I'm very good friends with ex Ger Derek Johnstone's sister who lives here in Brisbane.

Just thought I'd throw that in.

I remember seeing Derek in a Dundee pub, throwing down pints of lager. It was a Thursday night and he was playing against Celtic on the Saturday. We had REAL footballers in those days.

Ah, the ever-expanding Derek Johnstone. Is he still with us, or did he burst?
I apologise, in advance.

I have a photo somewhere of my face peeking through a large photo of Ally McLeod's Scotland squad.

It was a promo that toured Tesco supermarkets where members of the public could magically appear to be one of the team by sticking their heads through a hole.

The picture of the team was in black and white, yet all the souvenir photos were in colour, dulling the illusion somewhat as one's bright pink weedy fizzog appeared atop the monochrome muscular chest and thighs of one Derek Johnstone.

I'll have to look that one out. It's in a plastic bag somewhere.
