He waited till all the roses sold out, so had to make do with carnations. At least he paid the full price.

I've been stuck with enjoyed the company of Lucy since last Thursday! We've been to Newcastle. I paid for the flowers (which she chose from Morrisons supermarket in Largs before we caught the boat back), because I don't like to see a lady (or Lucy) having to buy her own. I'm now back at my own home recovering from the weekend.
