I have been on the library board for about four years now and get to find out things that a lot of people aren?t aware of so I try to pass the information around. It used to be you could go into a library in your region and take out movies and drop them off for return at your own ? but you couldn?t order in movies by interlibrary loan. Well now you can? in Alberta anyway.
Recently we have seen or have on the way some pretty recent movies: 300; Shrek the Third; The Nanny Diaries; 3:10 Yuma; Oceans 13; Live Free or Die Hard; A Mighty Heart; Amazing Grace (2007) & D?j? vu ? can you tell I have teenage boys?
I have also been enjoying some BBC productions such as Jane Austin movies, some All Creatures Great and Small and some Rosemary and Thyme.
I am having a great old time as you can keep some for three weeks ? it is hard for me to rent as the local shop only lets new release out for one night at $5 a night and I don?t often go to town two days in a row ? they only have a five day deal for really old movies ? I usually end up buying them previously viewed when I go to the city for $7 to $10.
Please excuse the serious topic.
