Paul Potts
« on: April 29, 2008, 12:02:29 AM »
I have watched a few episodes of American Idol but did not see the the British version where Paul Potts became a star but I seen him interviewed on TV - he was on "The Hour" just last week. I just bought his CD a few days ago and am enjoying it a lot - I do wish they hadn't put the two Christmas songs on the end or I could have just looped the CD.

I am wondering how Potts is received in GB these days? Has anyone offered him a lead in an opera?

People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

There's a difference?

Very little difference, actually. Rather like Mince, and a peculiarly demented pilchard.

I know you like me, deep down. But you must stop making friends with fish of any kind.

Oh dear. You'll never be a cartoonist or comedian. Stick to being a nerd.

Just because you failed doesn't mean that I will.

Look, do you think perhaps you could leave at least one thread untouched by your petty squabbling?

This is supposed to be a tribute thread to the marvellous Paul Potts, virtuoso tenor, Britain's Got Talent winner, performer to Her Majesty the Queen, former Carphone Warehouse salesman, and erstwhile leader of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia.

Leave it out!
I apologise, in advance.
