Autographs.

I was writing some scripts today about Dennis and his autograph book. (Obviously, it turns out to be nonsensical). Anyway, do you lot out there have any prized autographs?

No one could be famous enough for me to bother about their signature. Mind you, if others were willing to pay money for it . . .

I had all of the autographs of the presenters of BBC Breakfast Time when that started in 1657. And Mavis out of Coronation Street.

I can't remember where they are now. The autographs - not the TV stars.

So, Tom, you don't have any proof?

Tom, I really like that bit of artwork you've chosen as your signature. I've said this before but, because Andrew doesn't often visit this site, I tend to come over as a one man show. This is obviously far from the truth. He's a brilliant cartoonist and I would have been nowhere without him. I think the example you've used demonstrates how good he is----it's just a really, REALLY nice bit of drawing.

I've just remembered I used to have Sue Robbie and Bob Carolgees autographs when they used to present a children's TV show called Hold Tight, from Alton Towers. I think that was broadcast just before the Battle of Hastings.

Don't know where they are either.

I agree Roger, it is good! This one is from one of the Horace books... there are quite a few others that I would like to use in the future! Hats off to you both - you're a good team!

I did have Kyle Minogues autograph, when Radio 1 was doing a live event when i was based at Hms Drake, in Plymouth. The only thing is, I had to get it on my sock as I forgot to take any pieces of paper with me.  Don't think she was too impressed at the time tho  :-\ :-\

With a nod also to another post, I have Kenneth McKellar's autograph...my Dad got it for me when they were both in a queue in a London bank so he signed the bank of a deposit slip for me.  In my young days I wrote to all and sundry in the entertainment world asking for autographs...what am I bid for Liberace's flamboyant squiggle?

I've got an original signature by Roger Kettle.

In Canada you only have to be 75 to get a signed letter of congratulations on your birthday from the PM. If there is a Liberal in government when I turn 75 I will apply for one of those.

People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad
