I don't know if I've treated you to my views on Aussie comedians before, but the dire state of humour here in Oz was highlighted when the brilliant Danny Bhoy (A Scottish comedian, m'lud) came over to do a stint at an Australian comedy festival.

He treated his audience to his views of the Australian Parliament, and it was a tour de force, especially if you have ever seen that bunch of chimps at work.

My point is: How come no Australian comics have ever taken the p*ss out of the Australian Parliament like this? It's the ripest of targets, and Danny Bhoy parodies them perfectly.
