Whilst in Scotland on holiday we watch a pine marten from a lady's kitchen window for a good five minutes.

Oh, yes - mid 80's at Dundee Students' Union. Great gig! Oh, hang on...that was the Housemartins. Sorry, no.

I apologise, in advance.

Strangely enough, Peter, I've only seen a dead one. It had been hit by a car near where I used to live in The Highlands. A very impressive creature. I grew up surrounded by all sorts of amazing wildlife and took it for granted but I've seen golden eagles, ospreys, adders, deer, foxes and even a wildcat. Back then, as a kid, it all seemed mundane---now I realise how unbelievably lucky I was.

We've just come back from a splendid day out at West Midlands Safari Park. Sadly, no pine martens, but this fellah asked us to pass on his regards...

I apologise, in advance.

He's got some neck - he's not even a member!
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

I wondered if I was very fortunate to see them, it would seem that I was.

Aren't they related to polecats? Not giraffes, pine martens.

I'm going to Google Images to see one.

Did anyone see Dragons' Den this week, where two young entrepreneurs were trying to persuade the Dragons to invest in their 'cuddly roadkill' toys - fluffy rabbits, cats, dogs and others, with all their bits stitched together haphazardly. Sheer genius! Sadly, the visionary Dragons let themselves down badly, and couldn't see the potential. This one will come back to haunt them!

I apologise, in advance.

Come on, Vult - they're adorable! They should sell them next to kid's dressing-up vet's and nurse's uniforms.

I couldn't expect anything less from someone who likes football!
