My new monitor
« on: August 24, 2008, 06:35:21 PM »
We bought a new computer, the monitor prices have fallen so much that we thought we may as well get the 22" one. It is huge I am still typing on the same first line - well okay this is now gone to the second line.

Not only that but my beau peep wallpaper is four characters repeating across the screen! Can you image that - four Egons burried in the sand (or is it custard?)

I don't know if I like it. It feels like a huge newspaper where everyone is reading over your shoulder. It makes me feel that I should be doing something important with the computer other than just reading Beau Peep such as perhaps running a small country.

When we first got a 27" TV when the kids were little, my husband got seasick.

Where will it all end? Will we have those in-the-air images that we can move around with our fingers like you see in the sci-fi movies or will the oil run out and we will all go back to living in caves?

Enjoy it while you can, Diane. It may all go pear shaped tomorrow!  :P
